St Patrick’s Catholic Church is set among gorgeous greenery and flower bushes in the quaint town of Menangle. Passers-by can’t miss the vibrant red brick structure or help admiring its subtle beauty.
In 1887 a Catholic priest came to reside in Menangle, and in 1895 the current St Patrick’s building was constructed to service the local community and cement its place in history. Built to a design by R. T. Dennehy of Sydney, the church now listed with the NSW Heritage as a socially significant building.
Please note a number of churches in Wollondilly are only open to the public during specific service hours, to view the interior of the church or for any private services outside these hours please contact the relevant caretaker for more information.
