Tahmoor Centenary Walk
The town of Tahmoor celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2016 and established the Tahmoor Centenary Walk to commemorate 1916 to 2016.
The walk highlights historic events, organisations, churches, places of interest and local treasured stories such as ‘How the Bronzewinged Pigeon came to be’. The walk consists of a series of plaques, approximately twenty metres apart and information boards.
The Tahmoor Centenary Walk is a fantastic leisurely activity to immerse yourself in local Wollondilly history. The walk is located in Tahmoor Main Street across the road from the shopping centre.
