Telopea Park has undergone a series of major upgrades and includes an outdoor gym, BBQ area, toilet facilities, improvements to the children’s playground, skate park and planting of a number of beautiful native trees.
The park features a memorial playground to honour the two fire fighters Mr Geoffrey Keaton and Mr Andrew O’Dwyer of Horsley Park Brigade, who lost their lives in the Green Wattle Creek bushfire on 19 December 2019.
The park also has a dedicated 'youth zone' which includes
- Netball and basketball multipurpose court
- A skate park that includes ramps and grinding elements
- Bike racks
- Bench seating and water fountain
- Undercover picnic shelter
