Now that we are starting to see the light at the end of the very long lock down tunnel, it’s finally time to get out and about again! Wollondilly is known for its fresh country air, wide open spaces, unique experiences and attractions. So round up your family and friends and catch up over enjoying the best of what the Dilly has to offer (whilst being Covid safe of course).
Get the Family Together
Most families are probably just as sick of their same daily walking route as they are the four walls of their house, so it’s definitely time to get out an about and find somewhere new. Pack a picnic, order a picnic box from a local business or prepare a park-side BBQ. Let the kids run wild at the playground or open green spaces and enjoy soaking up the start of summer reminiscing on how we all survived the last few months.

Catch up with the Ladies
Calling all ladies who lunch, it’s finally time to pop the bubbles and enjoy an afternoon of laughter and good times...you will need many hours to properly catch up! You can opt for a classic get together and enjoy a top notch brew, full lunch spread or cheeky glass of wine at one of our local Cafes & Restaurants. Or why not try something a little different and organise a fabulous group activity such as a ‘Vino Vangough’ bottomless painting session at Moses Barnes (scheduled for 13 November, get in quick!), a gorgeous Christmas wreath making session with local florist Porter & Hudson or floral workshop with Nadine in the Wild Flora Studio Greenhouse Studio.
Many ladies will also need a little Retail Therapy after months of scrolling online (so not the same). Grab a coffee from one of our fantastic café’s and browse our local shops and boutiques for unique keepsakes, trinkets, presents, apparel and more that you won’t find anywhere else.
Round up the Boys
All the guys out there will also need some ‘bro time’ and have a good old catch up with their mates (especially those who have been stuck in a house of females, we hear you!). Luckily the Dilly is packed with fun and adrenaline filled activities that every group will love. Bring out your competitive sides on the track at Picton Karting, take each other down at Ultimate Paintball or go for a leisurely round of golf at Antill Park.
After winding each other up, cool down with a beer and feed at one of our many popular Wollondilly pubs and clubs.
