The Silm family began planting apple trees here in the 1940’s and today, the orchard has expanded into a variety of fruits – a total of around 23,000 trees – including apples, peaches, nectarines and persimmons, the produce of which is sold through both the domestic and export markets when in season.
They are especially proud, also, of their “Cedar Creek Black Label Apple Juice” which is a pure, 100% juice, and it is crushed and bottled at the orchard throughout the year. Also launched less than a year ago is Cedar Creek Cider, proudly 100% Australian Crafted Cider.
During the season they sell their fruit (1st and 2nd grade) and juice directly from the orchard to the public.
During some of the season they also offer fruit picking. These days very popular and bookings are essential.
