Bents Basin is popular for swimming, kayaking, bushwalking, barbecuing, picnicking and fishing. Enjoy one of the walking trails including Caley’s Lookout Track, which leads to Little Mountain, a scenic lookout area that is 160 metres (525 feet) in elevation. Bents Basin campground offers sites for tents, trailer and caravans in a scenic location by the water.
Two roads access the park (Bents Basin Road in northwest and Bents Loop Road in the park’s east) and a fee is charged for vehicle access per day.
If you’re interested in finding out more about the park’s landscape, plants and animals, you can easily arrange a guided tour with a ranger.
